10 Keys for Unlocking Your Super Emotional/Mental Health & Your Super Brain

  1. Good Brain Diet

A good brain diet includes foods such as avocados, salmon, blueberries, coconut oil, broccoli, green leafy vegetables, walnuts, turmeric, dark chocolate, water, etc.

  1. Killing ANTS (Automatic Negative Thoughts)

The thoughts we think have a direct impact on our emotional well-being and brain health. With over 60,000 thoughts a day, it’s important to keep those thoughts as positive as possible. We’re human though so negative thoughts are bound to creep in. When they do, use this magical “ABRA” formula to stop those thoughts in their tracks!

A = Acknowledge the thought

B = Breathe in possibility, a positive thought, and potential.

R = Release the negative thought. [Breathe in positivity. Breathe out doubt.]

A = Align. RESET. Align with your TRUE SELF.

ex: The negative thought might be: “I don’t have a great memory.” Add “YET” to the end of the sentence: “I don’t have a great memory YET!”

  1. Exercise

Jim Kwik reminds us that “anything good for the heart is good for the brain.”

People who exercise have better: mental acuity, focus, memory, and mood. They tend to be clear thinkers and have more energy and less stress.

  1. Brain Nutrients

In today’s lifestyle, we are on the go, we are bombarded with fast food, the CORONA Diet has not done us any favors! We aren’t getting the nutrients we need.

Learning something every day adds years to your life and life to your years.

  1. Stress Management

Stress can wreak havoc on our mental, physical and brain health! Add things into your day to reduce stress: massage, yoga, mindfulness training, meditation, exercise, nature.
