Understanding Your Monthly Cost
The Initial Unsharable Amount (IUA) is the amount you would pay before costs can be shared for your eligible illness, injury, or pregnancy (We call these Needs).
If your expenses for a Need go above your IUA, your costs for that Need will be shared. So, if you break your arm or are pregnant, you can be assured that your medical expenses that exceed your IUA would be shared, so long as you remain a member!
Below, you’ll see monthly IUA amounts for all budgets! The more you contribute monthly, the lower your IUA will be.
No matter which Membership you select (from the Basic Membership to the Premier Membership), all members get access to the same services to keep you healthy and happy like 24/7 telehealth, free health coaching, bill negotiation services, supplement and lab test discounts, and much more. The only difference between the Memberships is your IUA amount!

(i) Curious about what an IUA is? Read on!
If you develop a new medical condition, like an illness, injury, or pregnancy, you have a medical Need.
The IUA (Initial Unsharable Amount) is the amount you would pay before costs can be shared for your eligible medical Need.
In other words, if your eligible medical Need expenses go above your IUA, these costs are then shared.
So, let’s say you have an eligible new medical condition – like a pregnancy or a broken arm – you would be responsible for your IUA…and then you have peace of mind that the medical costs associated with that condition that exceed the IUA would be shared (with no caps or maximums!) so long as you remain a member.
We have Memberships for all budgets, and the amount of your IUA is determined by how much you want to contribute monthly. (The more you can contribute monthly, the lower your IUA will be.)
We know that life can be unpredictable! While you’ll be responsible to pay the IUA for any unique medical condition that might arise, we try to help you out by capping them at 3 per year. That means no unexpected surprises. The maximum you can pay is 3 times your IUA. How simple is that?
But here the best news: No matter which monthly amount you select, all members get access to the same Knew Health services to keep you healthy and happy: 24/7 telehealth, free health coaching, sharing in routine preventive care, $200 supplemental allowance, bill negotiation services, supplement discounts, lab discounts, etc.
